Cancellation & Refunds

Cancelling is one click

Sign in, open Billing, and press cancel. You do not need to phone us, you do not need to email us, and nobody will try to talk you out of it. If you would rather we did it for you, call (555) 000-0000 and we will.

What happens when you cancel

  • The next monthly payment does not happen.
  • Your website stays online until the end of the month you have already paid for. If you cancel on the 3rd and your month runs to the 28th, your site is live until the 28th.
  • After that, your web address stops showing your site. Anyone who visits sees a short page with your restaurant’s phone number and a link to your Google listing.
  • Your login keeps working. Your menu, prices and photos are kept for 12 months and you can download all of it whenever you like.
  • Your domain name stays yours. We will help you move it wherever you want.

Refunds

We do not refund part of a month. Instead, you keep your website for the whole month you paid for. We think that is fairer than taking the site down early and sending money back, because your customers keep finding you until the day the month ends.

There are three exceptions, and in each of them we refund without arguing:

  • We never delivered. If you paid and we did not get your website live, you get everything back.
  • You were charged after cancelling. Full refund of that payment.
  • We ended it. If we close your account for our own convenience, we refund the unused part of the month.

If you think you have been charged wrongly, call us before you call your bank. We would far rather send your money back the same day than argue about it through a card company.

Free previews cost nothing

If we built you a sample website before you were a customer, you owe us nothing for it, whether you go ahead or not.

If a payment fails

Your website stays online while your bank and ours retry the payment, for about 21 days. You will see a message in your dashboard and we will try to reach you. Nothing goes dark without warning.

If you bought your website outright

The $1,200 buyout is a one-off purchase and is not refundable once we have handed over your files and started transferring your domain, because at that point you have received what you bought. Before handover begins, you can still change your mind and get a full refund.
